Blue Trail Consulting’s Firearms Training takes aim at all the negatives of a range day and maximizes your time and progress on the range. All of our private lessons are held at a private outdoor range where our students are able to draw from a holster, shoot and move, and set up complex courses of fire. Every private session is tailored to your skills and abilities.
Pistol Training
Shooting a pistol can be a challenging endeavor, often requiring precision, focus, and considerable practice to master. The intricacies of grip, stance, trigger control, and sight alignment can overwhelm even the most enthusiastic beginners. Red Dot Pistol
While red dot sights on pistols has almost become standard, the training needed to use them has not. Pistol optics can improve your overall shooting immensely. Unfortunately, without proper training, a RDS can leave you with bad habits and worse marksmanship.
BTC provides personalized training sessions that cover the fundamentals of optic selection, mounting, zeroing, target acquisition, and effective use of red dot optics in various scenarios. Whether you are a beginner seeking foundational knowledge or an experienced shooter aiming to refine your technique, our structured approach and hands-on guidance will help you improve accuracy and speed. Rifle Training

Concealed Carry
With concealed carry being rather new in New Jersey, many people are itching to get their permit and start carrying their firearm. While we are excited to see people have right to defend themselves, BTC feels the standards set by the state will not help you in a use of force situation.
Our concealed carry program does not just simply check a box. This program is designed to actually prepare our students for a use of force situation. This is accomplished by requiring our students to acquire specific equipment such as a quality firearm, holster, flashlight and individual first aid kit. Our concealed carry program includes the training in how to use all of it. In addition, BTC requires a passing score on a modified SWAT qualification course in addition to the shooting requirement set by the state for your NJ Concealed Carry Permit.
If you are looking for the fastest and cheapest way possible to complete the shooting requirement portion of your NJ Concealed Carry Application, this program is not for you. Our program is designed for the student that is truly looking to defend life and gain skills.
