Pig Gloves

Trying to find gloves that offer protection and the ability to operate a firearm is difficult. The fabric of most gloves makes it impossible to feel the gun in your hand and can make it harder to grip. Going on jobs with no gloves on felt risky and I was constantly pinching my hand in something or getting splinters crawling around attics.

I was introduced to Pig Gloves about a year into my search for the perfect pair of gloves. For $29 I felt there wasn’t too much to lose. The first thing that I noticed is that they were thin. These gloves offer a very low level of protection. While that is less than ideal for certain applications, the tradeoff makes it worth it. Shooting in these gloves is effortless. If you size the gloves correctly, they will fit very snug to your hand and there shouldn’t be any excess fabric causing discomfort. In addition, the wrist of the glove is elastic so there is no closing mechanism to mess with. Within a couple of minutes of wearing them, I was sold.

Because the Pig Deltas are so thin, they wear easy. If you are wearing the gloves often they will need to be replaced about every six months. The rubber coating on the fingers seems to always be the first part of the glove to give up. For the added protection that they offer and unmatched comfort, I don’t mind replacing them constantly.
